When Did Holiday Wizard Start?

Holiday Wizard was first conceived in January 1999 as a result of the founder's experience attempting to find a suitable choice of brochures to book a ski holiday. It was apparent that the Internet was failing to address the needs of the holiday purchaser and the service you see today is the solution.

The first test version of the site was launched in July 1999 with the official launch.

Travel Weekly scored us at 9/10 and said 'it would have been 10/10 if Holiday Wizard allowed online viewing of brochures'. We now do.

New Media Age, an internet marketing specialist publication, and assessing us from that point of view, also promoted Holiday Wizard to 'Site of the Week' with a score of 89/100.
