Activities Abroad offers a winter adventure and activity holoday brochure brimming with snowy alternatives to the traditional alpine skiing holiday. There’s husky sledging, reindeers, ice hotels, cross country skiing and even a chance to see the Northern Lights and even Santa. The brochure covers holidays in the Scandic countries and Canada too.

Hotel Kittila in Kittila is 200km north of the Arctic Circle. Leave the crowds going to the big skis resorts and head to the traditional Lappish town of Kittila for husky sledging, reindeer safaris and much more. An eight day trip staying in the comfortable Hotel Kittila costs £1373 for the 14 Dec 08 departure based on two adults sharing inc flights.
Tromso and Lyngsfjord Tour covers three nights in a cosy guesthouse and one night in the modern SAS Radisson Hotel in the centre of Tromso. A perfect short break that’s packed full of activities too. Departures on either Tues or Sat throughout winter 2008/2009 cost £1215 per adult based on two sharing, with flights included.

Skydiving in Spain is your chance to do a tandem skydive in beautiful, warm surroundings. Stay two nights and achieve your freefall dream for £365 for all departures between 23 Aug and 30 Sep 08.
International travel is not included on these holidays.

Activities Abroad has published what they call a brochure for ‘real family holidays’. There’s no kid’s club, it’s a simple case of all the family having a go at learning something new, trying a new sport and above all, interacting together and having fun!

Pyrenean Activity Holiday is an eight day holiday filled with mountain biking, gorge walking, hydrospeeding and much more all in one of France’s sunniest regions. Prices vary according to the number of activities you choose to do and for six activities the price is £935, with a £50 deduction for children 14 yrs or under, inc flights.
Quebec Active Adventure is a brand new hols for 2008 with the chance to try white water rafting, kayaking overnight trips, whale watching and brown bear watching. The 13 day trip costs £2495 per person and £1945 for under 12s sharing a room with adults, inc flights.
