 Oasis Overland at Holiday Wizard
Oasis Overland was started in 1997 by two friends who loved travelling, running overland trips to the Middle East and Africa. Since then, the company has expanded into South America, whilst still running their classic overland tours to the Middle East and Africa.
The company’s aim is not to have the biggest or the most trucks, just to run good trips on well-built and well-maintained trucks – and have a good time doing it!
The main overland adventure and ultimate expedition itineraries are for between 15 days and 40 weeks, but if you’re limited for time, Oasis Overland also offers shorter ‘Regional Explorer’ trips. These trips are between 10 and 27 days and are geared towards smaller groups preferring to use local hotels and local transport (usually air conditioned coaches and trains).
The great things about overland adventure travel are making new friends, sharing experiences along the way and being able to get out there and have the time to really immerse yourself in the local culture and traditions as you work your way overland through different regions and countries.
