If you’re after a spot of early summer sunshine, relaxation and fun, we spotted a superb deal in Greece, staying at the two star Aegean Aparthotel in Kriopigi, Halkidiki. For only £180 per person, you will spend seven nights in a studio room with breakfast served in the dining room, with return flights from London Gatwick and coach transfers in-resort all included.

The Aegean Aparthotel offers:

• Modern apartment style hotel building with 41 apartments on four floors (no lift)
• All studios are clustered around the terrace and swimming pool

The price, currently £180 is per person, based on two sharing. So for a total of £360 two of you will be holidaying in Greece for a week with return flights from London Gatwick and coach transfers in resort (between 1.5 and two hours) all included. this represents a saving of £276. Reduced prices on Norway cruises thanks to new chartered flight deal with London Stansted

The flights are to serve the most popular Hurtigruten route, The Classic Round Voyage that lasts 12 days and sees you visiting 34 ports and covering over 2500 nautical miles as you cruise up the Norwegian coastline into the Arctic circle as far north as Kirkenes and back down again to Bergen.

Waking up to the breathtaking autumn colours in Norway is truly a sight to behold. All the very places to visit are included in your itinerary, such as Alesund a delightful Art Nouveau town and Molde with superb views. You’ll have time to visit Trondheim, Norway’s first capital, is a jewel of a city that you’ll have plenty of time to explore, including the cathedral and folk museum.

Set off on an Amazonian adventure tour for less this June

Dragoman has posted the last few places on the 23 day Amazon and Coastal Explorer tour at a reduced price. Instead of paying the full brochure price of £850, you can head on the trip of a lifetime for just £638, saving you £212. Departure is for the 9th June 2012.

The trip starts in Salvador da Bahia in the north east of Brazil, a city thats steeped in African slave history, with an intriguing mix of wonderful beaches, cobbled streets and brightly coloured buildings.

After that you’ll head up the coastline and you’ll all sorts of fascinating sights such as dinosaur footprints, more crystal clear water lapping onto idyllic beaches and lots of history too. Included is a trip out to the Lencois Maranhenses National Park as well as taking off on a five day jungle adventure.

The mammoth journey ends with sailing along the Amazon River to Manaus where this incredible Brazilian journey ends. The trip can also be done in reverse.

Travel on this trip is by overland vehicle, boat and Jeep 4×4 vehicles. You will spend 13 nights in hotels, four nights in campsites, five in hammock-style beds and one night of wild camping, but you can usually upgrade to rooms rather than camping (payable locally) if you wish.

The success of the BBC series Frozen Planet has brought amazing images of the Arctic right into your home. Now if you want to go on a voyage of a lifetime to see all the sights and sounds of the frozen world yourself, Exodus is a specialist when it comes to these sort of expeditions.

The Spitsbergen (Norway), Greenland and Iceland tour from Exodus will take you on a 15 day voyage of discovery encompassing three Arctic countries with dramatic, contrasting and wonderfully desolate landscapes that are unique in the world.

Wildlife is abundant and you’ll see bears, walrus, foxes and birdlife as the ship crosses the Greenland Sea to explore the rugged coast and then into the largest fjord complexs in the world, Scoresbysund. You will then enjoy the volcanic Westman Islands.

As you will be travelling above the Arctic Circle, you will enjoy pretty much 24 hours sunlight, so you can watch your surroundings all day and all night!

The boat you’ll be travelling on is the Akademik Sergey Vavilov, built in Finland for the Russian Academy of Science for high-tech missions at sea. The ship is quick, quiet and stable. Onboard there is a gym, two saunas and a library and there are just 104 guests onboard.
