Exodus is one of the UK’s most renowned small group adventure tour companies and for 2010 a choice of three new safari-style guided tours is offered, where spotting amazing wildlife is pretty much guaranteed.
The Walking Safari in Zambia really is a rather special way to see animals such as elephants, buffalo, zebras and hippos, as you are guided around the South Luangwa park by expert park keepers and guides on foot. The park covers a vast 9000 square kilometres and the joys of getting ‘up close and personal’ whilst you make your way around offers a front row seat watching nature at its finest.
There’s no sign of roughing it though on this safari. The private estate offers excellent accommodation and food, meaning you can go on safari and really enjoy your time away, with plenty of home comforts. Exodus currently has three departures priced at £2999 per person, based on two people sharing and including flights, departing on the 12 May, 15 Sep or 06 Oct 2010 for 11 days. A supplement of £720 can be paid for you to have your own single room.
The other two new safaris offered for the first time by Exodus are the 16 day South African Safari and the 10 day Leopard and Whale safari in Sri Lanka.
The former offers you the chance to visit lesser-known safari parks in South Africa. The tour starts in Kruger National Park, before moving on to Botswana and finally Zimbabwe. The price of this safari adventure tour starts at £1999 with flights included.
The latter is a very special tour where you’ll go in search of leopards and whales in and around the Yala National Park of Sri Lanka, from £1599 per person including flights. The tour offers 10 days of incredible wildlife watching which should reward you with some fantastic photos of blue and sperm whales, as well as leopards.
