Thomson has some excellent deals on their website at the moment if you’re desperate for a bit of winter sunshine. We spotted a superb half price deal for a week in Bugibba, Malta for just £186 per person, leaving London Gatwick on the 28th February 2012.

The accommodation is in the Sunseeker Complex that has a three star Thomson rating and offers 53 apartments over four floors. The residence is brilliantly situated just outside the main area of Bugibba, so it’s quiet, but easy to get to all the amenities.
The Sunseeker residence’s highlight is the rooftop terrace and swimming pool area with an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, a pool bar in summer and sun loungers everywhere. Head up there and you get fabulous views of the sea and the beach.
