Thomson has a full page of offers on their website with room upgrades for free or just 1p per person per night, on summer sunshine holidays.

We spotted a seven night holiday to the Hotel Castilla in Costa Blanca, Spain. The original brochure price is for a half board holiday, but you can book online and get full board accommodation for just £441 per person, including return flights and transfers. The flight takes just two hours 30 minutes, flying in to Alicante.

The impressive 11 storey hotel offers views across the Costa Blanca and boasts good sized and comfortably furnished rooms, with satellite TV, hairdryer and mini bar. The Hotel Castilla is a popular choice with Thomson holidaymakers thanks to its outdoor pool area which is a large and warm suntrap. If you want to head to the beach, Levate beach is just a five minute walk away.

Upgrade to full board for just 1 pence

The upgrade from half board to full board for just 1p per person per night is available on holidays to the Hotel Castilla from the 1st May to 31 Oct 2009.
