The tour, which is accompanied and guided every day, last 10 days and is by coach with cross channel ferry crossings. The hotel is quiet and has lots of facilities, including an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool. As an extra touch to this historic walking tour in the footsteps of King Maximilian of Bavaria, evening meals will be chosen from the King’s very own recipe book.
The holiday includes four days of walking, for which you need to be pretty fit and active, with a maximum of seven hours of walking on one day. On the days where you are not walking in the hills, there are sightseeing trips to visit a cheese farm and a schnapps distillery.
