COSTA RICA FAMILY ACTIVITY HOLIDAYS COSTA RICA If there is any other country in the world that is more suited to active exploration than Costa Rica then we would like to know about it. From coast to country, volcanoes to rainforests, Costa Rica has everything: rafting, kayaking, canyoning, trekking, horse riding and even rainforest zip wires are but a few of the highlights. Throw in the remarkably diverse flora and fauna, stunning land and seascapes and, best of all, the genuine warmth of the local people and you have a unique and truly unforgettable family activity holiday. HOLIDAY CHOICES Our 13 night activity holiday is ideal for those families who want to experience the exotic scenery and atmosphere of Costa Rica in a truly active way. The activities are designed to show you and your family the stunning and diverse natural environments of this spectacular Central American country. An excellent combination of coast, canyons and canopies is complemented by some genuine downtime. COSTA RICA ACTIVE ADVENTURE 13 NIGHTS THE ACTIVE WAY TO DISCOVER COSTA RICA 762 miles of coastline, 6% of the worlds biodiversity, volcanoes, lush rainforests, pristine beaches, more than 845 species of birds and some of the best activities in Central America, not bad for a country just 200km long. Starting in the vibrant capital of San Jose we head first for the Caribbean Coast visiting and exploring the Tortuguero Canals. From the east coast we head inland to experience the incredible biodiversity of Sarapiqui where we go white water rafting and flying on a zip wire through a tropical rainforest. Further west we spend three nights amidst the rolling landscapes beneath Arenal Volcano. Arenal is awesome by day and jaw-dropping by night when the volcano spits out molten lava into the pitch black Costa Rican sky. You can see it all from the hottub in your hotel room! From Arenal, we travel south west to Manuel Antonio and the rolling breakers of the Pacific Ocean. Rest and relaxation are high on the agenda along with some fantastic activities. After one last night in San Jose its back to the airport for your homeward flights. We are confident that you will have experienced the very best of Costa Rica and will return home with a wealth of wonderful memories. The holiday easily exceeded our expectations. Although my family were of mixed age everyone, without exception, marvelled at the diversity of Costa Rica Tim Smithers - March 2007 50 1 person flying from Gatwick/San Jose return emits approximately 1.85 Tonnes of CO2. Cost to offset = £30.77
