With fast flowing rivers and towering mountain scenery you cant fail to be impressed by Bavarias alpine beauty. Our activity leader Thomas is amongst the best in Europe and has run training, activity and team building camps for the British Army since 1993. Our accommodation is family owned and offers a warm welcome and traditional evening entertainment. The Allgau region is one of Bavarias undiscovered gems epitomised by King Ludwigs fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang fame! ACCOMMODATION - OUR OPINION
Our accommodation is at the Gasthof im Wiesengrund in Bad Hindelang. The family run guesthouse comprises ensuite double and twin rooms and some family apartments sleeping up to 6 people. The bedrooms are 200m from the main building and provide a quiet and tranquil setting. The hotel provides traditional Bavarian entertainment (lederhosen and all!) in the evenings. Your breakfasts and dinners are all served at the hotel and you will sample some local specialities as well as wider ranging international cuisine. A childrens menu is available. The guesthouse also has a small solarium with a Finnish sauna and a tanning bed. There is a large open air public swimming pool next to the main building. Nothing was too much trouble for Thomas and his instructors. All were professional, very safety aware and fun The Trill Family - July 2007
