FINLAND - THE GULF OF BOTHNIA KEMI KEMI AND THE GULF OF BOTHNIA Situated on Finland's west coast and looking out onto the Gulf of Bothnia, Kemi is a modern city offering a unique range of activities. The city is well known as an outdoors centre and is home to the world famous Sampo Icebreaker, a snow castle and a very diverse selection of incredible winter adventure sports. You can drive a snowmobile across the frozen sea, take a trip on the Icebreaker, float in the Arctic Ocean, drive a reindeer-pulled sleigh and spend the night in a snowcastle ­ all in one day! HOLIDAY CHOICES We offer a wide range of winter activities in Kemi allowing you to design your own winter holiday. You can combine dog sledding, snowmobiling, a trip on an icebreaker and many more fabulous adventures into either a short break or a longer stay, giving you maximum flexibility. DESIGN YOUR OWN WINTER HOLIDAY ANY DURATION modern hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms all of which are equipped with TV, radio, mini-bar and hairdryer. There are, of course, 3 saunas for guests to relax in after a day of outdoor activity and a small swimming pool. The hotel has two main restaurants. The HuviRetki restaurant is where guests enjoy their buffet breakfasts and evening meals, the Lyhty also provides a dance floor for after-dinner entertainment. The hotel also has a Mexican restaurant and pub called Old Gringo which is very popular with locals and guests alike. ACCOMMODATION - OUR OPINION THE HOTEL The 184 room Hotel Cumulus is centrally located in Kemi and just a short walk from the famous SnowCastle. It is a 44
