Nestling in the fells of Central Lapland is the unspoilt village of Luosto. Located 90 minutes north of the Arctic Circle this small ski resort offers an intimate encounter with the wilderness of Lapland but from the comfort of your own log cabin. Luosto offers first class activities and accommodation in the cosiest of winter cottages coupled with a stunning natural environment. We offer a wide range of winter activities in Luosto suitable for all ages allowing you to design your own holiday based in a cosy log cabin surrounded by a snowy wilderness. TAILOR MADE DESIGN YOUR OWN ANY DURATION LOG CABINS - GENERAL FACILITIES These cabins are available for shorter breaks as well as week long stays and provide a cosy and intimate retreat after a day in the winter wilds that surround Luosto. The cabins vary in size, layout and decor but each one has a comfortable lounge area with a log fireplace creating a seriously cosy Lappish retreat. Additionally, each cabin has a well-equipped kitchen and a sauna as well as cable TV, video and a drying cabinet. They really are ideal for relaxing and winding down after a day spent in sub-zero temperatures. Breakfasts and evening meals will be served in the Luostonhovi restaurant 300 metres walk from the cabins so there's no need to go shopping or prepare meals after a hard day of exciting and exhilarating activities. Also included free of charge during your stay are: cold weather gear, cross country skiing, downhill skiing or snowboarding equipment. LOG CABINS - SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Cabins are available with either 1 or 2 bedrooms and an additional mezzanine sleeping area with 2 or 4 single beds. Consequently, they can comfortably accommodate from 2 to 6 people and up to 8 - at a squeeze!

LUOSTO - THE VILLAGE
Luosto is a very small resort surrounded by absolutely stunning Lapland countryside. We think Luosto's size simply adds to the charm but you should not expect too many local amenities. The local supermarket sells the basics, there is a well stocked souvenir shop and the possibility to purchase locally mined amethyst jewellery. However, you certainly won't be bored as there are an extensive array of activities from overnight husky safaris to a spot of ice skating and you can always take full advantage of Luosto's ski slopes.
