Ruka and Kuusamo are the ideal destinations for combining Nordic activities with skiing and snowboarding. The ideal choice for combining Nordic & Alpine activities. The Rantisipi Rukahovi is probably Finland's best ski-in/skiout hotel and enjoys a fabulous location in Ruka's main square. This central position means it is no more than 50 metres to the ski centre and nearest ski lift as well as making all of Ruka's facilities, bars and restaurants easily accessible.
Designed to a very high standard these apartments overlook Ruka's main square and are only a stone's throw from the ski lifts and ski centre. The location also makes these apartments ideal for visiting the local restaurants and bars as well as having a supermarket, café and launderette next door. Each apartment has one twin bedroom and a further bedroom with single upper and double lower bunk beds. It is also possible to sleep two more people on a sofa bed in the lounge. Each suite has a shower, sauna, separate WC, drying closet, balcony, an open-plan living/dining area with sofa, TV, DVD, CD player, free broadband dataport and full kitchen with 2-ring hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker. Linen, towels and end of stay cleaning costs are included in the overall holiday price.
The hotel has 180 rooms in total, all of which have en-suite shower rooms, air-conditioning, TV, mini-bar, pay per view video channel, hair dryer and clothes drying cupboards. The hotel has two restaurants serving international cuisine but with local produce very much to the fore. Evening entertainment includes live music and dancing. Additional facilities include 3 saunas (free to guests), bars and a sound-proofed basement night club.
