M.S. Royal Star GOING ASHORE Paradise awaits at each port of call and our choice of optional excursions will show you the best of these wonderful exotic places. A brief description of the ports of call and excursions can be found on pages 22 27. M.S. Royal Star docks alongside at the ports of Mombasa, Mahé and normally Mauritius, La Réunion, Maputo and at all ports in South Africa, but owing to a lack of suitable facilities at the other ports she will anchor off and passengers will be taken ashore by launch or tender. No charge is made for this service. Please note that occasionally, wet landings may be necessary. M.S. Royal Star will anchor off either at La Digue or Praslin dependent on the trade winds. A ferry service operates between the two islands. At embarkation you will receive a boarding pass which will replace your passport during the cruise. At each port of call, a Landing Tags Board is placed at the exit to the gangway. It is imperative that you take your boarding pass and the tag corresponding to your cabin number with you when going ashore. On embarking the ship, the landing tag must be replaced which allows the crew to account for all passengers prior to sailing. 6 RESERVATIONS 0845 345 0014
