My husband and I have just had another fantastic holiday with ASC. This year was our 5th holiday and they have all been excellent. We have now stayed at Coral-Palm twice, Watamu twice and this year The Flamingo. We hope to go back to Flamingo next January what a fabulous way to start a New Year! All our holidays have been excellent value for money, all hotels have provided a very good service from the moment we have arrived to our departure. We cannot praise ASC enough and thank you so much for so many happy memories.
FACILITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
There are four swimming pools with large sun bathing terraces and ample grounds in which to relax on a sun bed, for which a small charge is made (approximately £1 per person per day). Please note that pool towels are not provided. During most days, there will be organised games for you to participate in such as water polo, aqua aerobics, football and volleyball matches. Tennis and table tennis are also available, for a small charge.
You can browse around the Shanzu Holiday Market which has a selection of shops and a Bazaar offering a wide selection of local crafts. For your peace of mind, you will also find a doctors surgery. A cafeteria also offers cold drinks and ice creams at reasonable prices. The Show Palace provides occasional evening entertainment (see page 25). For those who like a flutter, a visit to the Twin Star Casino would not go amiss, while the adjacent Lion King Club features regular music and dancing.
WINING AND DINING
The large and airy restaurant is built in traditional Makuti style. A buffet style continental breakfast is offered and you can choose from a selection of hot and cold buffet dishes at lunch and dinner. Drinks and snacks can be purchased at the cafeteria throughout the day and until early evening.

There are four bars and on most evenings there will be entertainment within the Shanzu Holiday Resort or at least at one of the other ASC hotels on Shanzu Beach. Guests are free to use all facilities at the hotels in the Shanzu Holiday Resort.
