These aircraft are perfect for viewing the magnificent scenery, including Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting), enjoying a bird's eye view of Kenya and her wildlife en-route. Bamburi airstrip is approximately a ten minute drive from our hotels at Shanzu Beach and Mtwapa, 45 minutes from Kilifi and 90 minutes from Watamu. If for any reason flights to/from Bamburi are not possible, it will be necessary to fly to/from Moi Airport, Mombasa, approximately 30 minutes drive from Shanzu Beach and Mtwapa, 75 minutes from Kilifi and two hours from Watamu. It may sometimes be necessary to drive both ways instead of flying to/from the camps.
