Our Out of Africa safari was an unforgettable experience from the moment we left the Sea Horse hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed each day and felt that we were extremely lucky to have the guides that we did. All the staff at the Crocodile Camp, Buffalo Camp and Twiga Camp could not have done more to make it so enjoyable and welcoming. The very smooth transfer from camp to camp, the flights, the game drives, brilliant food throughout and friendly staff was consistently without a hitch.

Day 1: In the morning, you drive to Sagala Lodge where lunch is taken. Your first game drive begins as you drive through Tsavo East, one of Kenya's oldest and largest National Parks, to reach the Crocodile Camp before sunset. There's time to enjoy a traditional `sundowner' and genial dinner before taking up your vantage point to watch the crocodiles feeding at the waterside. Day 2: After breakfast you fly to Nakuru. Directly after touchdown you will start your game drive en route to Lake Nakuru. Experience the unbelievable richness of Africa's bird
population and witness the many flamingos that congregate here. After lunch, you fly on to the Masai Mara. Landing at the Mara Buffalo Camp, right in the heart of this fabulous wildlife paradise, you set out on an unforgettable game drive through the hills and plains in this huge 1,510sq km park. Look out for lion, leopard and hyena, which in turn are looking out for zebra and gazelle. Return to the camp with time to settle into your Banda, before rounding off the day with a relaxing evening meal.
Day 6: Wake up early to a welcome cup of tea before setting out on your early morning game drive, a chance to view the animals at their most impressive. Return to the camp for breakfast, followed by an exciting full-day excursion into the fascinating Kimana region - keep a look out for animals in this well populated reserve, enjoying lunch en route. Your evening meal tonight is a truly elegant camp dinner, Hemingway style. Day 7: After a morning game drive enjoy a champagne breakfast at the Hippo Pool. After lunch at the camp you fly back to Bamburi, arriving at your hotel in time for dinner.

Days 3-4: Experience two days in the Masai Mara with various game drives included. You can experience African wildlife at close quarters, perhaps witnessing lions hunting and leopards basking in the branches of acacia trees. Return to the camp each day in good time for dinner. Day 5: After a morning game drive and following lunch, you fly to ASC's private Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary, set right at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. On arrival you are taken to the Twiga Camp. Time to setle in before enjoying your evening meal.
4 AND 6 NIGHT SAFARIS
On these safaris you vacate your hotel room and your luggage will be placed in safe storage. Please note that we cannot guarantee the same room will be allocated to you on your return. For hotel stays of one or two nights either before or after your safari, regrettably, a specific hotel cannot be confirmed; details will be given to you in resort. Please note: when calculating the cost of these safaris, we take into account that you will vacate your hotel room.
CHILDREN'S REDUCTIONS
Children between 8 and 15 years will receive a 20% reduction. Children under 8 years are not accepted on safari.
BOOK IN ADVANCE
To secure your place on safari, we strongly recommend that you book before you depart on holiday. Safari prices may differ locally. Park entrance fees are imposed by the Kenya Wildlife Service and can be subject to change.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the date of departure of any safari although we will naturally do our best to meet all specific requests. We try our best to keep to published itineraries, but we reserve the right to vary them as may be necessary from time to time. Safaris can only be operated subject to a minimum number of participants. If we are unable to operate the safari you have booked we will offer you an alternative or a full refund.
