The beaches of this region range from pebble coves to shingle shores and curving sweeps of coarse sand. Lloret de Mars long shingle beaches, Santa Susannas pebble and shingle shore, and Tossa de Mars watersports sands can all get crowded in July and August, but explore the coast and you can still find quiet spots.
nightlife
Llorets your liveliest for nightlife with bags of bars and discos. Tossa de Mar and Santa Susanna are quieter, but still have a handful of night spots to choose from. Elsewhere, people-watching from al fresco cafes, leisurely dinners and late night bars make for relaxing evenings.
