Day Trips to Gibraltar
Gibraltar is famous worldwide for its dramatic rock. It is inhabited by around 30,000 people & there is also a colony of the famous apes. Tours offer you the chance to visit the World War Two tunnels, the Dolphins in the straits & English style shopping but at duty free prices. The different experience tours vary in price.

With more than 100 km of coast, there are bags of beaches to enjoy, from the three miles of fine sands at Fuengirola to a cluster of small bays at Benalmadena, and well maintained sweeps of sand and shingle around ever popular Torremolinos. Most have watersports centres.

Benalmadenas vibrant night scene includes everything from cabarets to clubs and casinos. Theres a lively choice of after-dark venues in Marbella and Torremolinos too, while Fuengirola evenings are more family oriented. Pick your pace and tempo&

getting around
There are plenty of taxis for short hops along the coast, and a local bus service links coastal resorts (though it can be slow and uncomfortably crowded in busy summer months). You could also opt for the train which runs from Fuengirola to Malaga, stopping off at Benalmadena and Torremolinos. To discover more distant resorts and inland attractions, make the most of your time with a tour or hire car.

The coast has countless British bars and eateries if you want to feel at home abroad. But give the fish & chips a miss in favour of Spanish flavour!
