Our Dutch parc Duinrell at Wassenaar, is near Royal The Hague ­ a vibrant city by the sea, a short train ride into Amsterdam and a stone's throw away from Tiki Tropical water park. You'll soon discover there's a whole lot more to our new neighbours than tulips and windmills. Surrounded by soft sand dunes, sun dappled forests and countryside in every shade of green, Wassenaar lies slightly in land from Holland's beautiful west coast, with its sprawling eight kilometer blue flag beach and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Wander around one of the local country estates such as Ter Horst, owned by the royal family and take a stroll through their wooded glades bordered by cascading willows. Discover the undulating dunes that glitter like gold dust on the coastline, take a trip to the famous bulb growing area to the north or explore the nearby historical cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. ...getting there...
