Autumn Champagne Extra
Saturday 11 - Monday 13 October
This tour has a very interesting selection of top growers and leading Houses, where you will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of champagne styles. We start off in ½ne style with a splendid comparative tasting of luxurious top cuvées. Next morning we continue with an in-depth visit chez Vilmart. Lunchtime and the early afternoon are spent in Reims. We have a quick tasting of H.Billiots rather delicious Grand Cru Champagnes before a gourmet dinner at the small, high quality negociant, Ployez-Jacquemart. On Monday morning we have a special visit to Bollinger, always a privilege and a pleasure. The ½nal event on this wonderful tour is lunch with Taittinger at their Domaine de Murigny with a tasting of many Champagnes from Taittingers wonderful range. The Wine Guide is Conal Gregory M.W.

We are sure that this tour will be very popular featuring, as it, does old favourites including Camille Savès and Billecart-Salmon. The ½rst evening comparative tasting too, will show you a variety of out-performing Champagnes. Our appointments start in Bouzy with our great friends Camille Savès, makers of stupendous champagnes from the top village of Bouzy. In the early evening we have a tasting in Verzenay followed by gourmet dinner with Ployez-Jacquemart in Ludes. On Monday we start with the prestigious house of BillecartSalmon, where they make great champagne in the modern style that still ages gloriously. We continue to Epernay, to the ultra-traditional Alfred Gratien, where we have an invitation to lunch. The Wine Guide is Conal Gregory M.W.
