Cyprus
Tucked away in the top right-hand corner of the Mediterranean and considered a `stepping stone' between the continents of Europe, Asia and Africa, Cyprus enjoys spectacular beauty and a unique character. Home to the myths of Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty, and also the island presented as a gift to Cleopatra from Mark Anthony, Cyprus has been synonymous with pleasure and romance throughout the ages. Blessed with gorgeous sandy beaches, cool cedar forests and soothing wildflower meadows, Cyprus is renowned for its wealth of ancient history, fine food and wine, and vibrant cultural life and entertainment scene.
PA P H O S
A paradise for sightseers and beach-lovers alike due to a combination of its position on the sun-drenched western coast and a wealth of ancient history, it is no mystery why Paphos remains popular. The resort comprises three different areas. Kato Paphos, the tourist hub, comprises a picturesque harbour, medieval fort and numerous tempting waterfront tavernas and bars. Paphos Town (or Ktima) is a typical small town with a bustling market and home to some interesting churches and museums, whilst Coral Bay is renowned for its modern holiday developments, fine selection of tavernas, bars and discos, and stunning beaches.

Larnaca has managed to retain a relaxed and leisurely way of life. Its main shopping area is Zenon Kitieos Street with charming shops including a colourful fruit and vegetable market. The palm-lined seafront of Larnaca town sparkles with activities, with enchanting cafes, tavernas, shops and bars.
PISSOURI
Situated between Paphos and Limassol, Pissouri is an excellent base to enable you to explore other areas of Cyprus, and we recommend car hire for at least part of your stay. The village of Pissouri has a pretty town square and mile-long Blue Flag beach, whilst the surrounding area is perfectly conducive to countryside walks.
LIMASSOL
Limassol is one of Cyprus's most modern and exciting holiday destinations. Limassol Castle, comprising the Cyprus Medieval Museum, and the 10 miles of attractive beaches known as the Cypriot Riviera, are well worth exploring. Other sightseeing attractions include the famous Kolossi Castle, built by the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem in the 15th Century. Cultural life in Limassol is equally stimulating, with ancient Greek drama, Shakespearean plays and contemporary shows performed al fresco each summer at the Greco-Roman theatre of Kourioun.
