Lively picturesque resort with an excellent beach. Ideal for families and couples. Chania is a beautiful old Venetian town dominated by the great White Mountains, with narrow streets winding their way down to the harbour. The main shopping district is lined with a selection of shops selling ceramics, jewellery, textiles, leather goods and clothing. The coast road running west of town past long stretches of sandy beach on the Gulf of Chania, leads to the charming seaside resort of Maleme where many of the hotels are situated.
Agios Nikolaos
Lively traditional resort. Ideal for those looking for a good nightlife in picturesque surroundings. The picture postcard harbour of Agios Nikolaos is a well established holiday favourite with traditional authentic Greek charm.The narrow streets are lined with cafes, restaurants, boutiques and endless craft shops. Beaches around the town are small, and a mixture of sand and shingle but why not hire a car and make the most of the fine sandy beaches further down the coastline?

A small sandy beach and selection of seafood restaurants and tavernas are located at the harbour, Car hire would be an advantage to explore the local area.
