Endless white sandy beaches surrounded by sheer cliffs, quaint harbours, traditional villages and a vivacious capital all combine to make Lefkada a dream holiday destination. Parga/Preveza
Parga as well as Sivota lie in Epirus a
mountainous region of the north west of Greece. Situated on the edge of the shimmering Ionian sea, its hills are dotted with olives, pine and cypress trees. With such incomparable natural beauty and a coastline indented with wooded islets there is nothing more to do but to enjoy its crystal clear beaches of Valtos and Lichnos or just laze around the picturesque harbour. The waterfront is lined with an array of restaurants and capopied cafes, while the winding streets around the harbour hide many dainty little shops. With a history so colourful and rich you don't have to go very far to see it. The Venetian walls of the town along with its castle are living reminders of its past. Of course, if you want to really go back in time, a visit to the Acheron river, which according to Greek Mythology, was the entrance to Hades, promises a unique experience. Parga is an exceptionally beautiful resort and its easygoing atmosphere holds great appeal for visitors of all ages. Everyone will find themselves absorbed in this enchanting resort.

Like its neighbouring Parga, Sivota is a resort of remarkable beauty. Scenic and traditional, it's wonderful to see these resorts retaining their Greek character and charm. Its hills are embraced by pine, cypress and olive trees, reaching in many places the water's edge. Stretches of white sandy beaches, a coastline indent with secluded coves and sandy bays are just waiting to be explored. Its delightful little is dotted with an array of cafes, tavernas, restaurants and shops while the boats moored at the quay just complete the scene. Although, tourism is fairly low-key here, prepare for a bustling high season where the area is crowded with many visitors from all over the place.
