From the classic architecture and stylish shopping in Paris to the cultural hotspots, cafes and world-class galleries of Amsterdam, this tour captures the essential names and places that Europe is all about. Travel through the Swiss Alps and get into some extreme sports, visit five of Italy's most popular cities, go rafting in Austria's Tyrol region and get a taste of medieval Germany.
Day 1-4, London - Paris - Lauterbrunnen - After an early morning meeting we take the ferry from Dover to Calais, and then drive past the WW1 battlefields of the Somme on our way to Paris. We include a Paris night light tour and you can watch the Eiffel Tower sparkling from Montmarte. Next we visit Lauterbrunnen, a stunning alpine town surrounded by waterfalls and overshadowed by the mighty Jungfrau. Day 5-9, Pisa - Florence - Rome - Verona - Venice - We stop for photo opportunities at the Leaning Tower of Pisa and make our way to Florence, home to world-class galleries and delicious gelati. We then arrive in Rome where you can visit the Vatican City or wander through the land of the gladiator at the Colosseum. Stopping in Verona there's time to admire Juliet's balcony before we arrive in Venice, famous for its gondolas and maze-like alleyways. Day 10-14, Tyrol - Heidelberg - Amsterdam - London - We stay in Innsbruck in Austria's Tyrol region where you can go white water rafting, and then we visit the university town of Heidelberg with its famous castle and giant wine vat. Amsterdam needs no introduction, and there are plenty of sights to keep you occupied here such as museums, galleries, breweries and the infamous red light district. We finish in London in the evening of Day 14.
