Discover the diversity that flourishes in Eastern Europe and visit incredible capital cities mixed with ancient and modern history. Visit Istanbul's exotic bazaars, Budapest's famous Danube and Prague's magical castle. Taste the various flavours of Europe and enjoy everything from traditional schnapps in Vienna to local brews in Berlin, and be captivated by the café culture in Amsterdam.
Day 1-3, Istanbul - Black Sea Coast - Bucharest - We begin in Istanbul, an intriguing city connecting Europe with Asia. Haggle for bargains at the Grand Bazaar and then Explore the Gallipoli site. We then stop overnight along the Black Sea Coast in Romania before arriving in Bucharest. This is the most prosperous city in Romania and is often referred to as the `Paris of the East' owing to its elegant and sophisticated arcitechture Day 4-8, Brasov - Cluj Napoca - Budapest - Vienna We visit Brasov, the home of Bran Castle in the heart of Transylvania, forever linked to Count Dracula. We then make our way to Cluj Napoca, a relaxed university town. In Budapest you can explore the romantic cities of Buda and Pest along the Danube, and following on we discover Hapsburg nostalgia in Vienna, the home of strudel, schnapps and delicious Vienna coffee - some of the best in Europe. Day 9-12, Prague - Berlin - Our next stop is the City of Spires, Prague, which boasts an architectural style that spans centuries. Here you can visit the beautiful Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge, or simply soak up the magical vibe. Be inspired by Berlin's history during our driving tour, and choose to visit the Checkpoint Charlie museum or the Brandenburg Gate. Day 13-15, Amsterdam - London - The intriguing capital of the Netherlands is renowned for its galleries, museums, breweries and of course the famous red light district. Hire a bike and cycle around like a local, and enjoy our cheese tasting and clog making demonstration. Our tour finishes in London on the evening of Day 15.
