Champagne and kebabs are just two out of many exotic European delicacies you'll tantalise your taste buds with as we take you on an amazing journey combining the best of the east and west. With endless opportunities to soak up the history and culture, this tour also allows plenty of time to relax on beautiful Mediterranean beaches and at the outdoor cafés and bars of Europe's coolest cosmopolitan cities.
Day 1-7, London - Paris - Avignon - Andorra - Barcelona We leave London early in the morning and make our way to Paris, where you have time to absorb the culture and enjoy a glass of champagne at our picnic under the Eiffel Tower. Following on, we admire the ancient walled city of Avignon before shopping up a duty-free storm in scenic, mountainous Andorra. In lively Barcelona we get a taste of cosmopolitan Spain; stroll down the Ramblas and sample as much paella as you can handle! Day 8-14, French Riviera - Cinque Terre - Verona - Venice - Florence - Pisa - Relaxing by the French Riviera, we admire the ritzy beaches and then enter Italy, where delicious gelati, pasta and Chianti are at our disposal! Admire Verona, the town Shakespeare made famous, take a gondola ride with a singing gondolier in Venice, and visit the Uffizi Gallery to marvel at the David in Florence. Day 15-21, Pisa - Rome - Sorrento - Brindisi - Corfu Passing by the Leaning Tower of Pisa, where you can wear out your camera lenses, we spend time in Rome, a classical Italy packed with stacks of ancient history and culture to discover. We then travel to the hillside coastal town of Sorrento where you can take in stunning Pompeii. In Brindisi we take the ferry to Greece and enjoy some R&R on this beautiful Greek Island. Day 22-27, Corfu - Athens - Meteora - Kavalla - After more time to enjoy this laid-back beach resort, we take a ferry to the mainland and visit Greece's stunning capital, Athens. Don't miss visiting the famous Acropolis and the Parthenon. We visit hilltop monasteries in Meteora and stop by the glistening sea in Kavalla. Day 28-31, Gallipoli - Istanbul - Our next stop is the historic site of Gallipoli, where we visit the ANZAC beaches and take a moment to reflect on the history of this important location. We then make our way to the former Byzantine city of Istanbul, where you can visit the Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque or haggle for bargains at the Grand Bazaar. We finish after breakfast on Day 31.
