Your search for the ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime adventure ends here! From the Louvre to the Leaning Tower and the Parthenon to Pompeii, we leave no European stone unturned on this all-encompassing expedition. It's the best of the east and west, and taking in 16 countries in only 46 days, it's the ideal trip for those who want to get as much as possible out of their adventure!
Day 1-7, London - Paris - Avignon - Andorra - Barcelona Leaving London early in the morning, we make our way to Paris, passing WWII battlefields of the Somme along the way. Admire this glamorous city with options to shop, visit galleries and museums, and cruise along the Seine. We stop in mountainous Andorra, where you can go duty-free shopping, and then we enjoy time in lively Barcelona. Day 8-14, French Riviera - Cinque Terre - Verona - Venice - Florence - After a relaxing stop on the French Riviera we enter Italy and visit the coastal villages of Cinque Terre, rustic Verona where you can leave a message for a long-lost lover, and the beautiful water wonderland of Venice. Wander the alleyways to the tune of accordions played by singing gondoliers, and then discover Florence, the cultural city where the Renaissance flourished. Day 15-23, Pisa - Rome - Sorrento - Brindisi - Corfu - We make our way to Rome via the infamous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Italy's capital has plenty of options to keep you busy: shop at elegant fashion boutiques, marvel at ancient ruins over 2,000 years old, and wander through the land of the gladiator at the Colosseum. We stop in Sorrento, a lovely coastal town near Pompeii, and then take the ferry from Brindisi to Corfu, a beautiful resort town in the Greek Islands. Day 24-32, Athens - Meteora - Kavalla - Gallipoli - Istanbul We visit the lively capital of Greece, Athens, where you can visit the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Following on, we visit hilltop monasteries in Meteora and stop by the glistening sea in Kavalla. Entering Turkey we visit Gallipoli, ANZAC beaches, and then we make our way to the former Byzantine city of Istanbul, where you can visit the Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque or haggle for bargains at the Grand Bazaar. Day 33-38, Black Sea Coast - Bucharest - Brasov - Cluj Napoca - Budapest - Vienna - We stop overnight at the Black Sea Coast and then have time to see the colossal House of the People in Bucharest. Discover the realm of Count Dracula in Brasov and visit Bran Castle. Explore the romantic towns of Buda and Pest astride the Danube and indulge in coffee and an apple strudel in Vienna. Day 39-46, Prague - Berlin - Amsterdam - London - Our next stop is Prague, the elegant City of Spires, and then see how the east and west unite in Berlin with options to visit the Checkpoint Charlie Museum and Berlin Wall. Hire a bike and cycle like a local in Amsterdam and enjoy a cheese tasting and clog making demonstration in the Dutch capital. We return to London in the evening of Day 46.
