Egypt
Experience many of Egypt's highlights as we take you from the pyramids to the Red Sea Coast and across the River Nile to Mount Sinai, Egypt's holiest mountain. Be immersed in the classic Egyptian imagery that characterises your preconceptions, but be prepared for some surprises as well!
Day 1-6, Cairo - Aswan - Felucca cruise - We begin in lively Cairo, with many bazaars, pyramids and sights to explore. Next we travel to Aswan, a popular backpacker haven. Explore the town and learn about Nubian culture, go shopping at the lively bazaar or just relax and take it easy. Following on, you'll embark on a traditional Felucca cruise along the Nile for 2 nights, taking in the tranquil surrounds. As we cruise along Egypt's lifeline you'll glimpse farmers, buffalo drinking at the shores, birds and the daily life of the locals. Day 7-15, Luxor - Hurghada - Dahab - St Catherine - Cairo We disembark at Kom Ombo temple, where we drive to Edfu and then onto Luxor. We visit the Karnak Temple before taking a donkey ride into the Valley of the Kings. Our next stop is the Red Sea coast, where we'll enjoy 3 nights of some serious R&R, diving and swimming. We leave Dahab late at night and drive to St Catherine to watch the magical sunrise the next morning. Returning to Cairo, we have one final night to enjoy the hustle and bustle that this city is all about.

Please note: It is possible that the Egyptian Government may stop tourists from using overnight seater trains between Cairo and Luxor/ Aswan. If this does happen we will have to use the sleeper trains and this will attract a surcharge of US$35 per journey. We hope that this change does not come in to effect but recommend that you check at the time of booking for the latest information.
