Admire the monumental Taj Mahal, explore the animated desert towns of Rajasthan, and taste some of the most exotic food to ever tantalise your taste buds. This tour combines the stunning 13 day Annapurna Trek with our Delhi to Kathmandu 1 or 2 for a comprehensive journey through the best bits of India and Nepal. Day 26-29, Pokhara - Kathmandu - Pokhara is packed with travellers gearing up to take on the stunning Annapurnas. Soak up the vibe in this exciting town before we travel to Nepal's capital, Kathmandu. Check out the market area of Asan, the Bhimsen Temple, Durbar Square, Hari Shanker Temple and the Maru Ganesh Shrine. Relax and prepare for the trek ahead. Day 30-32, Pokhara - Jomson - Kagbeni (2810m) Muktinath (3802m) - We return to Pokhara taking in the scenic views along the way. We then fly to Jomson and begin our trek, first trekking to the Wkali Bhatti settlement and then the Kagbeni village. Hiking along the Gandaki River, we will reach the traditional Jharkot Village and then ascend to the impressive Mikinath Temple. Day 33-37, Muktinath - Marpha (2670m) - Ghasa (2080m) Tatopani (1189m) - Ghorepani (2724m) - Tadopani (2540m) We descend to the Kaligandaki river basin and follow this path until we reach the Ghasa village. After making out way to the Gandaki valley we have time to relax in the hot water springs in the Tatopani. We then ascend to popular Ghorepani, taking in spectacular views along the way. On our way to Tadophani we'll glimpse a beautiful sunrise with the chance to see many mountains in the distance including Annapurna (8091m). Day 38-41, Tadopani - Ghandrung (1950m) - Nayapul (1070m) - Pokhara - Kathmandu - Leaving Tadopani we take on a steep descent on our way to Ghandrung, the village of the ethnic group of Gurung . We continue our descent and reach our final destination, Nayapul. We then drive to Pokhara and the following day we return to Kathmandu. Enjoy more sightseeing or relax and unwind. Agra is the home of the Taj Mahal, and after a stop here we will visit the tigers of Ranthambore NP, one of the world's most famous tiger reserves. Day 7-15, Samode - Jaipur - Pushkar - Udaipur - Jodhpur - We visit Samode, a beautiful village dominated by its Palace and Bagh (formal garden), and then we stop in Jaipur, where you can wander the markets or take an elephant ride. The peaceful village of Pushkar with its sacred lake is next on the itinerary, followed by Udaipur, where white marble palaces, placid blue lakes, stunning gardens and roaming green hills are highlights. We then travel to Jodhpur in western Rajasthan. Explore the old city, visit the Government Museum and marvel at the Meherangarh Fort. Day 16-21, Jaisalmer & Overnight Camel Safari - Bikaner Shekhawati - Delhi - In Jaisalmer we take a safari to experience desert life from a camel's back and camp under the stars, before stopping in Bikaner, an oasis town with many merchant havelis. Visit Lalgarh Palace, an impressive red sandstone building surrounded by sand dunes and rocks, and don't miss one of the finest forts in western Rajasthan, the Junagarh Fort. In Shekhawati we have time to admire the chhatris (monuments) before returning to Delhi. Day 22-25, Varanasi - Lumbini - Chitwan National Park - In the holy city of Varanasi we take a boat trip on the Ganges and then you have time to explore the many ghats where pilgrims take a purifying dip in the river. We then cross the border into Nepal and stop in the world-heritage listed Lumbini before travelling to Chitwan NP, where you can go on an elephant safari, a jungle walk or a river trip.
