Day 1-7, Rio de Janeiro - Ouro Prêto - Porto Seguro Salvador - After a night in lively Rio de Janeiro, we travel inland to the old mining town of Ouro Preto. Our next beachside stop is Porto Seguro, the home of the Lambada. More beaches and sunshine await us at Salvador. Day 8-14, Maceió - Olinda - Praia Pipa - Life's still a beach on our second week in Brazil, with Maceio offering options for sailing and seafood. Next we visit Olinda, a colonial gem with brilliant coastal views, and following on we head to the fun beach stop, Praia Pipa. Day 15-21, Canoa Quebrada - Ubajara - Sete Cidades - After exploring isolated beaches at Canoa Quebrada, we discover the stunning cave in Ubajara and then travel to Sete Cidades, meaning `Seven Cities', famous for its mysterious rock formations. Day 29-35, Manaus - Amazon Jungle - We arrive in Manaus, a town on the edge of the Amazon River, and you have the option to explore the depths of the rainforest further with an overnight jungle adventure. Day 36-42, Boa Vista - Salto de Kama - Ciudad Bolivar Guacharo Caves - We cross the equator through Boa Vista and arrive in Venezuela, where luscious waterfalls await us at Salto de Kama and Angel Falls (from Ciudad Bolivar). We then travel to the Guacharo Caves where you can observe oil birds in their natural habitat. Day 43-49, Mochima National Park - Llanos - Mérida - Heading to Mochima National Park, we have time to discover the beautiful Caribbean beaches and then we travel to Llanos, famous for its wildlife and wetlands. Next we arrive in Merida, home to the world's highest cable car and some great walking options. Day 50-56, Morrocoy - Caracas - We relax in the stunning Morrocoy National Park and end our adventure in the lively Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
