Travelling across the land on a long-haul expedition is the best way to discover the diversity of South America and the vast plains of East and Southern Africa. Group Size: Big & Fun! Average group size is 15-25 people with a maximum number of 34. As we have many vehicles the maximum group size may vary due to the vehicle which ranges from 26 to 34 seats. Transport: Overland Expedition Vehicle We are proud to boast the best overland vehicles of any overlanding company in South America and Africa. We use modern powerful Mercedes Benz trucks with custom built bodies. Big engines mean that they can travel comfortably at cruising speeds, even in the high Andes, often cutting hours off the daily travelling times of the vehicles of other companies. Our vehicles have modern reclining coach seats, writing tables, tinted sliding windows with curtains, library, ample storage space, stereo & PA system, through access to the driver cabinet. We have long range fuel tanks for extended travel, large capacity water tanks for when camping in remote regions. Our camping and cooking equipment includes waterproof 2 person tents with mosquito netting, camping stools, extensive cooking equipment, large walk in kitchen tent with lighting. Accommodation: Camping & Hotels Enjoy the rugged outdoors with camping underneath the stars, in national parks and out in the wild! When we're not camping we stay in inexpensive hotels, hostels and guesthouses, on a share basis, usually with a private bathroom. Food: Some Meals Included Meals when camping and lunches on travel days between campsites or hostels are included. Other meals are not included and allow you to get out there and sample the local cuisine! Crew: Driver & Tour Leader A dedicated driver and tour leader (Spanishspeaking in South America). We also have back up offices in Cuzco, Peru, and Livingstone, Zambia.
