This beautiful excellently equipped ski-in, ski-out self catering Chalet is situated on the ski slopes at Chinaillon, the main ski area in Le Grand Bornand. The area is hitherto undiscovered secret of the French, being an exceptionally unspoilt pretty village in the Aravais region of the Haute Savoie. The ski-ing areas are linked by regular free bus services to La Clusaz. The mountains are to be by ski lift in the future. The area boasts 200km of lifts up to 2750m, with plenty to be enjoyed by the more experienced skier. Le Grand Bornand is primarily a family resort which caters very well for children in both summer and winter with plenty of entertainment to keep them amused. Although there is a lovely outdoor swimming complex in the village of Grand Bornand, you can also swim in Lake Annecy and sunbathe on one of the lovely beaches there, only about 35mins drive away. There are many types of restaurants, many traditional, plus children's nurseries and an ice rink in the village.
