10km outside Ceret set in a peaceful location in the foothills of the Pyrénées; Mas Las Fontanes is an ideal holiday destination, close to both the beach and mountains. Formerly a vineyard, the house is situated on 8 acres, with pool and 6 bedrooms; 4 double, 1 twin and a children's room with 4 bunks. The house has 3 terraces ideal for outdoor eating, 3 bathrooms, a laundry and a large living area with open fireplace. The house is 30 minutes from the sandy beaches of Argeles & Saint Cyprien, which offer good conditions for windsurfing, sailing and swimming. It comes equipped with 5 mountain bikes and has excellent cycling and walking tracks in the vicinity. Ceret is famous as a centre for modern art and has a mild climate, hot and dry from June to September, mild from October to May with between 300-320 days of annual sunshine. The house is within easy reach of both Perpignan and Barcelona-Girona airports for cheap flights and Barcelona, Figures and the Spanish coast are also close to hand. TV, DVD, Video, Stereo + selection of DVD's.
