Superb four-bedroomed farmhouse on a private 500-acre chateau estate with a large heated pool and sports facilities. Sleeps 2-8 Situated in a beautiful and peaceful part of France, the estate is home to several species of deer, horses and birds of prey. There are miles of woodland walks, with magnificent far-reaching views from the house and pool. Limoges airport is an easy 36 miles drive away, as is the main A20 motorway. Local attractions include Lake Vassiviere, one of the largest in France, with its beaches and art gallery. Skiing at Mont Dore is a 90-minute drive. Pretty local village with bakers, bars and shops 5km. Guests have private and exclusive use of the entire estate (which is entirely fenced for added privacy). Facilities include a large solar heated pool (15x7m) and a well-equipped fitness room. It's great place for kids who can befriend our pigs, sheep, chickens, horses, goats and host of other animals! There are several excellent restaurants nearby and we have produced a guide with our recommendations, from friendly pizzerias to something more sophisticated. Luxurious Accommodation: Heavily beamed living room with three sofas and large open stone fireplace. Well-equipped kitchen/dining room with dishwasher, microwave and seating for eight. Doors to BBQ terrace and further al fresco dining area. Four comfortable bedrooms with exposed beams. Two well-fitted bathrooms. Utility room with washing machine/tumble dryer. The house has been restored to a high standard and sympathetically furnished with a number of antique items. Full central heating, satellite TV, DVD and CD. Cot, high chair and stair gates available. Bikes and badminton, BBQ and boule. Loads of DVDs, games and books. Price includes linen, electricity, gas and logs for the fire. The pool depths are 1.1m 4m making it ideal for diving. The owner and his family sometimes use the pool and gym.
