There are many good restaurants and numerous activities, including walking, cycling, canoeing, hang gliding, bird watching, fishing, golf and tennis. Accommodation: ground floor: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher etc., and spacious lounge/dining room with TV, DVD and CD player. Shower room with wet room shower, twin washbasins and WC, under floor heating and wood burner in lounge. First floor: 3 large double bedrooms. Spacious bathroom with corner bath, wet room shower. Twin washbasins and WC, radiator heating. Outside facilities include heated pool, garden furniture, badminton, boules, BBQ etc, sorry no pets. BEAULIEU - SUR - DORDOGNE

Les Collines de chêne, set in a peaceful valley 0.5 miles outside the idyllic village of Beaulieu-sur-Dordgone, has five double bedrooms (3 en-suite) and a large open plan kitchen-diner lounge. Four of the five bedrooms open to the south facing terrace through French windows, revealing a beautiful peaceful valley overlooking the Dordogne river. The villa has a well equipped kitchen and utility room including dishwasher and washing machine and there is comfortable seating both for dining and relaxing, inside and out. The extensive grounds have a private 11 x 5m swimming pool with a shaded barbecue area surrounded by mature trees. The village of Beaulieu boasts a 12th century church surrounded by a network of narrow streets connecting bustling squares to tranquil riverside walks. A wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes provide for every taste. Local activities also include canoeing, boating, windsurfing, horse riding, tennis, golf, pre-historic caves, chateaux and some of the most beautiful villages in France.
