Garden and Stable cottages are two adjacent properties in the quiet village of Flers within the triangle comprising Hesdin, St. Pol and Frevent. 90 minutes from Calais. Sandy beaches less than an hours drive away. Within easy reach of Somme WW1 sites. Both cottages, which were built in the 19th century, have been renovated and are set in apporximately one acre of gardens where the resident English owners also have their home. Each cottage has its own private patio area surrounded by mature shrubs and trees. There is an outdoor swimming pool for the use of guests during summer. Ideal area for short breaks out of season (minimum 2 nights). Available all year. All linen and fuel included in price. Garden Cottage: 2 twin-bedded bedrooms. The spacious cottages, with adjacent stone farm buildings form a large grassed courtyard, where children can play safely. Our village is an excellent base for exploring the champagne caves at Epernay, plus the famous city of Reims. Close by within the ancient hunting forests stands Compiegne, a town rich in art treasures. Let's not forget Paris, Disneyland & Parc Asterix. Local amenities includes excellent restaurants, lake with beach and golf.
