It has three bedrooms; two double (one twin/double) and a smaller children's bedroom which slopes under the eaves, an upstairs bathroom (bath and shower) and a further toilet downstairs. A fully equipped farmhouse kitchen with wood burning stove opens onto a large private garden with fruit trees. There is garden furniture, a BBQ and easy access to the owners pool. We're about an hour's drive from the seaside...Fouras, La Rochelle, Royan. Explore historic Cognac and Saintes. Try Futuroscope, take a picnic to the magical forest of Aulnay, or eat in the village bistro.

Situated within ten minutes of the RN 10 this Gite Complex lies in a peaceful village which still has a small shop and a Bar/Tabac. It was created from an old farm and although in the village still retains a sense of peaceful seclusion. Each Gite is fully equipped for a self catering holiday with the exception of the laundry which is communal. Each Gite has it's own BBQ area. There is a covered Games area with a Pool Table and Table Tennis. A Petanque Court and Bicycles are provided to allow you to enjoy the lovely and peaceful Charente countryside. There are several Golf courses within an hour or so drive. In Angouleme, 20/25 mins drive south, you have Ten Pin Bowling, Tennis and an excellent Watersports facility (Nautilus Centre). Cognac lies to the west, home of the famous spirit, a chance to visit to one of the Distilleries should not be missed.
