Pépoulie is a typical farmhouse of South West France, built before the French Revolution, with 19th century additions. It is a kilometre north of the village of Puylaurens, between Toulouse and Castres, and enjoys over 2000 hours of sunshine a year. It consists of the house itself, stables converted into the gite, and a workshop. Situated on the crest of a hill, in the middle of a hectare of land (around 2½ acres), it has panoramic views of the rolling countryside all around.
