Entrance from courtyard to 2nd oor. Sitting room, TV/video, open re in the sitting room logs provided. Dining room seats 10. Well-equipped kitchen with larder, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and double sink. Utility room with washer/dryer and hanging for outdoor clothes. All ve bedrooms are large, comfortable and luxuriously furnished. Three of the bathrooms are en-suite. All bathrooms have hand held or over the bath showers. Pets - 2 allowed.
Kinnaird Castle has been owned by the Carnegie family, Dukes of Fife and Earls of Southesk, for over 600 years. It lies in 1300 acres of parkland, with miles of walks in countryside and woodlands, an abundance of wildlife, deer and excellent shing and shooting. Carnoustie and St Andrews golf courses are both less than an hour away and several others within 20 minutes. The Angus glens o er pretty, gentle scenery up to the Highlands with more dramatic scenery in Royal Deeside, 45 minutes away. The area around Brechin and the Montrose Basin is largely undiscovered by visitors to Scotland, yet is easily accessible from airports, excellent main roads and Montrose railway station. Most of the original main bedroom oor of the Castle has been luxuriously converted into two ne apartments. Guests in the Macdu Tower and Barony Apartment may use an allocated area of garden a little way from the Castle. It should be noted that both the Macdu Tower and Barony Apartment are at the top of two long ights of stairs, so are not suitable for those with walking diculties. Pets - allowed. Full Catering available.

Located on the 2nd oor at corner of Castle, with own front door and parking. Large, comfortable sitting room, open re, two round towers with window seats. Dining room seats 12. Kitchen is light and well-equipped with fridge/ freezer, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Two airing cupboards. Downstairs: drying room, hall and storage room. Two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, a single bedroom and a TV room/ single bedroom. Four separate bathrooms with either hand held or over the bath showers.
