The Trans-Siberian Express 15 Days / 14 Nights from £6,795 Non-Exclusive Escorted Group · World's Longest Railway Journey · Gold or Silver Class Cabin · Russia & Mongolia Traversing the expanse of Russia, from Moscow to Vladivostok, the Trans-Siberian Express line covers 9,000 kilometres, passing through 8 time zones and 80 towns and cities. Highlights of the journey include Kazan and UNESCO-protected Kremlin, Novosibirsk, the Mongolian capital Ulaan Baatar, and a barbeque on the beach at the world's largest freshwater lake, Lake Baikal. The Golden Eagle Travel in comfort aboard the new Golden Eagle train, which offers Gold and Silver Class cabins. Gold Class cabins are the largest at 77 square ft and feature en suite bathrooms with power showers and under-floor heating, DVD / audio systems and individual climate control. Silver Class cabins have similar facilities in a more compact space of 60 square ft. The Golden Eagle features a Lounge / Bar Car and a Restaurant Car, which serves local delicacies and international cuisine. Day 1 To Moscow: Fly from London Heathrow to Moscow with British Airways. Transfer to the Metropol Hotel or similar for an overnight stay. Welcome reception in St Basil's cathedral and dinner. (D) Day 2 Moscow: Full day tour of Moscow including the Kremlin.
