19 Days / 17 Nights This extension offers an introduction to the ancient mountain kingdom of Nepal, focussing on the capital of Kathmandu with its maze of narrow streets, wooden temples and beautifully decorated palaces. During the extension there will be a visit to Bhaktapur, one of the old cities of the Kathmandu Valley, which has remained virtually unchanged since the 17th century. Day 15 To Kathmandu: Fly from Udaipur / Jaipur to Kathmandu, via Delhi. Transfer to the Soaltee Crowne Plaza / Dwarikas Hotel* for 2 nights. (B) Day 16 Kathmandu: Option to take a spectacular early morning mountain flight to see Mount Everest (weather permitting). Morning tour of Kathmandu including Durbar Square and Swayambunath. eastern bank of the Bagmati River for a view of Pashupatinath Temple. (B) Day 17 To Dhulikhel: Transfer to Bhaktapur, Nepal's most traditional medieval city. Continue to Dhulikhel and stay overnight at Dhulikhel Mountain Resort. Afternoon at leisure. (B) Day 18 To Kathmandu: Early morning view of sunrise over the Himalaya (weather permitting). Transfer to Kathmandu. Afternoon at leisure to relax or explore Kathmandu in more depth. Overnight at Soaltee Crowne Plaza / Dwarikas Hotel*. (B) Day 19 To London: Fly from Kathmandu to London, via Doha, with Qatar.
