(B) Day 7 Jaipur: Morning visit to the City Palace, home of the present Maharaja. Afternoon at leisure to relax or explore Jaipur's many bazaars. (B) Day 8 To Delhi: Drive to Delhi via Samode Palace. Stay overnight at the Intercontinental Eros (or similar). (B) Day 1 To Delhi: Overnight flight from London to Delhi with Jet Airways. (N) Day 2 Delhi: Arrive and transfer to the Intercontinental Eros (or similar) for 1 night. Afternoon tour of Old Delhi. (N) Day 3 To Agra: Morning tour of New Delhi. Afternoon drive to Agra and stay for 2 nights at the Mughal Sheraton (or similar). (B) Day 4 Agra: Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. After breakfast, visit Agra Fort. Optional sunset visit to the Taj Mahal (payable locally). (B) Day 5 To Bharatpur: Morning drive to Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Continue to the former royal mansion of the rulers of Bharatpur, Laxmi Vilas Palace, for 1 night. Afternoon visit to Deeg Palace. Evening cultural show and dinner. Kathmandu, including Durbar Square and Golden Swayambunath Stupa. Afternoon visit to the medieval city of Bhaktapur. (B) Day 12 To Chitwan: Option to take a spectacular early morning mountain flight to see Mount Everest (weather permitting). After breakfast, fly to Bharatpur and transfer to Temple Tiger Jungle Lodge in the Royal Chitwan National Park. Stay for 2 nights. Afternoon jungle walk or elephant back safari. (B, L, D) Day 13 Chitwan: Early morning elephant back safari in search of rhinoceros and the elusive tiger. Later, take a boat excursion looking for gharial, marsh crocodile, fresh water dolphin, otter and a wide variety of birds. Afternoon elephant ride and visit to the elephant stables. (B, L, D) Day 14 To Pokhara: Drive to Pokhara. Stay 2 nights at the Shangri-La Hotel. Afternoon tour of Pokhara. (B) Day 15 Pokhara: Morning trek to the World Peace Stupa for views over Pokhara and the Himalaya (weather permitting). Continue on foot to Phewa Lake and take a boat back to Pokhara. Afternoon at leisure. (B) Day 16 To Kathmandu: Fly to Kathmandu. This afternoon, visit Pashupatinath and Bodhnath. Overnight at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza. (B) Day 17 To London: Fly to London, via Doha, with Qatar.
