Galle Face Hotel Colombo
Built in 1864 and located on the sea front in the heart of Colombo, the Galle Face Hotel is a colonial gem with 77 air-conditioned rooms and suites. The hotel has two distinct wings. Heritance Kandalama Kandalama
The Heritance Kandalama is ideally located between two of Sri Lanka's most important ancient sites: Dambulla rock temple and the Sigiriya rock fortress. The 152 rooms all have lake or forest views and blend perfectly with the natural environment. The hotel has won the prestigious environmental `Green Globe 21 Certification' award.
Deer Park Hotel Giritale
The Deer Park Hotel is situated near the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and it comprises 77 luxuriously decorated cottages. Idyllically located, the Deer Park overlooks the Giritale Reservoir on the edge of a forested national park that is rich with wildlife. The Tea Factory Nuwara Eliya
Set 6,800 feet up, in an emerald treescape only six degrees from the equator, this hotel began as a tea factory in the days of the British Raj. The conversion combines much of the original style and machinery with a range of modern innovations. The views are entrancing, with a wide panorama to the front and gentle pastoral scenes to the back.
Tea Trails Bogawantalawa Valley
Set in the heart of the tea country at an altitude of 4000ft, Tea Trails is a collection of four refurbished planters' bungalows. Each bungalow has four to six rooms, all individually furnished in classic colonial style, and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Guests have the option to book a room or an entire bungalow.
Earl's Regency Kandy
The Earl's Regency Hotel is set in the Dumbara Valley, its balconies overlooking the Knuckles mountain range and the Mahaweli River. The hotel, which offers a range of excellent dining and leisure facilities, has preserved the feeling of seclusion whilst being located only a few minutes' drive from Kandy.
Heritance Ahungalla Ahungalla
Formerly known as the Triton Hotel, the Heritance Ahungalla occupies an idyllic setting on a long stretch of unspoilt palm-fringed beach in the ancient fishing village of Ahungalla. An early creation of Sri Lanka's most famous architect Geoffrey Bawa, the 160 newly refurbished air-conditioned rooms offer stunning views of the Indian Ocean, and the property has two sprawling swimming pools.
