The Galapagos Islands offer some of the rarest wildlife experiences on earth. Day 1 To Lima: Fly from London to Lima via Amsterdam with KLM, or via Madrid with Iberia. Transfer to the Swissôtel for 2 nights. (N) Day 2 Lima: Take a half day tour of colonial Lima, including the San Francisco Monastery, San Pedro Convent and San Marcos University, with lunch at the 18th century Casa Diez Canseco mansion. (B, L) Day 3 To Cuzco: Morning flight to Cuzco. Transfer to the Casa Andina Private Collection Cuzco / Monasterio+ for 1 night. Afternoon tour of Cuzco, including the cathedral, San Blas and Sacsayhuaman. (B) Day 4 To The Sacred Valley: Full day tour visiting the Indian market at Pisac and the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. Overnight in the Sacred Valley at the Casa Andina Private Collection. (B, L) Day 5 To Machu Picchu: Morning transfer to Ollanta station and board the train to Machu Picchu. Morning tour with the afternoon free for independent exploration. Overnight at Inkaterra Machu Picchu / Sanctuary Lodge+. (B, L, D) Day 6 To Cuzco: Morning at leisure. Afternoon visit to Dragon Hill, where you may see land iguana, Darwin's finch and marine turtle in the clear coastal waters. (B, L, D) Days 10-12 Galapagos: These days will be spent exploring islands with different characteristics in order to see as much variety of wildlife and landscapes as possible. Visits include the islands of Bartolome, Santiago, Rabida, North Seymour and Santa Cruz. The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, readjustment of National Park policies and the captain's discretion. (B, L, D) Day 13 To Quito: Fly to Quito. Transfer to the Hotel Hilton Colon / Swissotel+ for 2 nights. (B) Day 15 To London: Fly to London via Amsterdam with KLM, or via Madrid with Iberia.
