Four Seasons Mexico City
Ideally situated on the Paseo de la Reforma, the city's main thoroughfare, the Four Seasons provides a peaceful oasis from which to explore Mexico City. Built in a colonial hacienda style, the majority of the 240 guest rooms and suites overlook a fountain courtyard. Part of the Orient Express chain of hotels, the Casa de Sierra Nevada is a collection of colonial buildings, originally home of the town's Archbishop, grouped around verdant courtyards. Hacienda Puerta Campeche, Campeche
This charming property has been created from a block of 17th century colonial houses in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Campeche. Adobe walls, tiled patios, tropical gardens and an al-fresco restaurant complement the 15 luxuriously decorated rooms, each featuring a distinctive bathroom. A special feature of the hacienda is the pool, which twists through former corridors and old rooms.
Hacienda Uayamón Near Campeche
A beautiful example of colonial architecture, Hacienda Uayamón features grand rooms with soaring ceilings, arched doorways and walls painted in warm muted shades. The 12 elegant suites are decorated with antiques and feature outdoor day beds. The dining room looks out to trees and a decorative pond, and there is a pool built into the old machine room.
Hacienda Temozon Between Merida & Uxmal
Set on a grand country estate, the Hacienda Temozon is a beautifully restored 17th century mansion which begun life as a cattle ranch. The estate has sweeping gardens with fountains leading up to the terracotta-red main building. The hacienda has a restaurant with views of the gardens and swimming pool. The spacious guest rooms feature Mexican antiques and some have plunge pools.
Hacienda San Jose, Between Merida & Chichen Itza
Located in the countryside outside Merida, the 18th century Hacienda San Jose has 15 guest rooms and suites and offers atmospheric and luxurious surroundings in which to relax. Rooms have high ceilings and elegant bathrooms and many open directly onto private gardens or a plunge pool. The central patio is in the old coach house and there is a beautiful small chapel.
