The Lodge At Chaa Creek Cayo District, Belize
Chaa Creek is set in a private 330-acre nature reserve along the Macal River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains. The Lodge has won many awards and consists of palm-thatched cottages and a luxurious spa. Excursions include wildlife trails, a butterfly breeding centre, Mayan ruins and swimming in the pristine waters of the Macal River.

Turtle Inn is one of Francis Ford Coppola's Belize properties, and it is located close to the pretty fishing village of Placencia. The Balinese-style cabaņas have private decks overlooking the white sandy beach, and the hotel offers diving and snorkelling on the coral reef. The open-air restaurant serves traditional dishes.
