Egypt Extensions
Tour + Abu Simbel
Available with Wonders of Egypt and Oberoi Philae Nile Cruise (departing from Luxor). The Temple of Ramses II at Abu Simbel is one of the most impressive monuments in Egypt. It is possible to include a visit to Abu Simbel if flying to or from Aswan, or as a day trip whilst staying in Aswan. The price is from £185 per person.

Tour + Aswan
Available with Wonders of Egypt and Oberoi Philae Nile Cruise (departing from Luxor). Aswan is one of Egypt's most picturesque towns, situated where the rolling dunes of the Sahara meet the Nile. The water here is flecked with the sails of traditional feluccas. This extension is based at either the Old Cataract Hotel+ or the Basma Hotel. Day 1* To Aswan: Transfer to your hotel for 2 nights. (B) Day 2 Aswan: At leisure to enjoy the beautiful setting, explore the souq or visit some of the local sites. (B)

Day 3 To Cairo: Fly to Cairo and transfer to the Le Meridien, Heliopolis or InterContinental CityStars Hotel for 1 night. (B) Day 4 To London: Morning transfer to the airport. Fly from Cairo to London with British Airways. (B) * Day 7 of Wonders of Egypt or Day 10 of Oberoi Philae Nile Cruise. + The Old Cataract is scheduled to close on 1 May 2008 for refurbishment. After this date clients will stay in the Basma Hotel (see page 23 for details).
Tour + Luxor
Available with Wonders of Egypt and Oberoi Philae Nile Cruise (departing from Luxor). Luxor is home to a vast collection of ancient monuments, many of which are remarkably well preserved. This extension is based at the Sheraton, Luxor (Wonders of Egypt) or the historic Old Winter Palace (Oberoi Philae Nile Cruise), where Lord Carnarvon stayed in the 1920s whilst digging for the lost tomb of the then little known boy Pharaoh, Tutankhamun.
