Risoul and Vars are linked resorts making up one of the largest ski areas in the Southern Alps, with a good snow record as well as lots of sunshine. Risoul is a compact resort, with many traditional chalet-style apartments. Vars is larger with lots of après ski activities. Both resorts are set amongst pretty woodland for some great tree-line runs and the resorts themselves offer a genuine French atmosphere with weekly markets offering local specialities.
Non-skiing activities include:
