Dragoman Overland is the real deal. If we say you'll be camping in the Serengeti, we mean it and don't just stop close by. Our pricing reflects that we go overlanding properly, making sure you get good value for your money. Pricing on each Dragoman Overland trip is transparent and split into two simple parts, the `Trip Price' and `Kitty'. More expensive than some competitors? Maybe, but look and see what other actually include. Our comprehensive prices take into account full itineraries with more activities and excursions than any other overland operator we know of check out the "what's included?" section of each trip. For 2007 we are launching our new Competitive Pricing Plan. Many of our trips will be up to 20% cheaper. For 2006 we have some great discount deals on our website.
loyalty discount: We offer a 5% loyalty discount off any Dragoman land trip for clients who have previously travelled with us for 8 weeks or more.* group discount: With the exception of family trips, if you book a trip with a group of 3 or more we will give a 5% discount off each booking.* * These disounts cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts trip price includes: The price price in the brochure is correct at the time of printing, but may vary during the year. Up to date prices can be found on the website. · All land transport by expedition vehicles · Tolls, ferries, seaport taxes and vehicle fees · All Dragoman Overland vehicle entrances · Services of crew · Vehicle accident liability insurance · Dragoman Overland's back-up, logistical support and HQ how the kitty works: The Kitty is the second part of the price. It's an amount that each passenger puts into a central fund and is monitored by you and the Dragoman crew. It funds accommodation, camp meals and activities that the group take part in as a whole. Encounter kitties are much less than those of Discover and Escape trips. Brochure kitties are approximate, more up to date kitties can be found on the website. kitty includes: · Camping and hotels (on a shared basis); meals while camping. All `Highlights' as listed in the `what's included?' section i.e. - game park entrances; activities, admissions and local guides kitty & trip price doesn't include: · Contingency route expenses in case of war/flood etc; optional extras; travel insurance. · Connecting flights; transportation or any costs while not actually on the trip. · Passports; visas; vaccinations; personal taxes (including personal border taxes). · Extra accommodation personal spending: The amount is up to you. All hotel food, drinks, laundry and souvenirs are part of your personal spending. A rough spending guide is included in our `Trip Notes'. optional extras: Optional Extras many of which are shown in the `what else can I do?' section are not included in the contract. Dragoman Overland does not operate these optional extras and, even when organized by our crew, takes no responsibility for them. Some options are adventurous and clients take them at their own risk. Make sure your insurance covers options you might want to do. Details and prices of optional extras can be found in the `trip notes'.
